“ Tried this restaurant today, it looks like it used to be a buffet but now it's just takeout. Apparently it's under new ownership, the guys were friendly and pleasant to deal with. I ordered a bunch of stuff. Notable points include super fresh veggies, containers packed to the brim with food, and the best general tao chicken I've had in a long time. “ So I was told this is under new management so I figured i would give it a try. I did visit this same location a few years ago. Today I was extremely impressed with the food. I ordered wonton soup, egg rolls, beef and broccoli, Cantonese chow mein. I will go back for sure the flavour was great not too salty. Lots of veggies in the chow mein. I think the boot and broccoli could use a little garlic but that is just my opinion. It would be nice to see the set up for Dinning in again. ”

“ This established Embrun restaurant has changed ownership a couple of weeks ago and what an excellent change it was. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, General Tao’s Chicken (bountiful serving), Singapore Noodles (bountiful serving) and Egg Rolls. We have to say, by far the best Chinese Food we have had in a very long time, anywhere. Ask for extra heat if you like heat. Shout out to Benny who was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Great to hear they will be open on Mondays. Highly recommend this restaurant for takeout! ”
“ The restaurant reminds me of the old 1970s and 80s small-town Chinese restaurants that billed themselves as "Canadian-Chinese." The food was fantastic and probably the best Chinese food I have had in the Ottawa-area since I moved here 15 years ago. Since this was our first time here, we ordered the basics: rice dish, two chicken dishes and some egg rolls--all of which were excellent. People comment about the decor (or lack of decor) but seriously, who cares? The food is what matters... ”
